FLIES ON THE WALL

We are witnessing an era where the common man’s reality has been thrown into the shock of raw human cruelty; images of broken bones, beheaded bodies and pit of corpses are hunting the media and the minds, like depictions of hell taken from the age of cannibalism.
The piece tackles what is happening in different civil wars, where victims are turned into mere numbers, falling in the thousands, losing their individuality, their breath, their human factors… they mutate into this hybrid breed of structural abnormalities; in our eyes, they transmute into mere bugs, crushed insects, dropping like flies.
Dimensions: Each drawing is 18x25.5cm- Total dimension is 170x220x4cm.
